3. POM material keycap

Although the PBT material is higher than the ABS material in terms of wear resistance, it is not the hardest among the common mechanical keyboard keycaps. There is also a material whose performance in terms of hardness is better than that of the PBT material. POM material called "Black Hard Ice".

The POM keycap is cold to the touch, and the self-lubrication of the material itself makes the keycap feel a unique dry and slippery feel, which is slippery than the oiled ABS keycap (ABS feels sticky after oiling due to the material characteristics). The disadvantage of the POM keycap is that the appearance party can't bear it, that is, the color is too simple. At present, the commercially available POM material keycaps are all black, which makes it only applicable to black keyboards.
